Founded in 1992, DRM’s leadership immediately recognized the need to support regional and national multi-location companies struggling with the complexities, inefficiencies and costs of managing their waste removal and recycling programs. The organization set out to provide solutions to these problems and established a regional – and subsequently – a nationwide network of haulers. By consolidating waste removal services with DRM, clients dramatically reduced operational complexity, saved time, and significantly lowered their waste removal costs.

In the early 2000s, DRM continued to grow, nearly doubling in size as the company took on new and larger accounts. Its proven model for waste consolidation, management and recycling attracted the emerging box store and wholesale clubs, as the model for simplicity and cost reduction.

By 2010, DRM had established a reputation as one of America’s leading waste outsource solutions company, supporting a broad range client base. Preserving the vision of its founders as a service-centric organization, DRM continues to maintain many of its original clients relationships to this day.

2015 and Beyond, DRM introduced Waste Acuity™, an innovative evolution of its resources, technology and services. Administered through its team of experienced industry professionals, Waste Acuity results in customized strategies and programs that deliver maximum waste stream efficiency and sustainable cost savings.
